Softball Hair Ties

So as you may or may not know, my husband and I coach our niece's softball team. I decided to make hair ties for all of them. For around $20 all of the girls can match which I like.

First we made a trip to JoAnn's to get some ribbon.

A trip to Target for the hair ties 

then I cut all the ribbons into strips

 and put clear nail polish on all the ends (that part took forever) 

to make sure they didn't fray. 

Tied the ribbons to the rubber band and it was done!

I'm usually not the DIY type for things like this, I prefer to just buy them already done. But this was kind of a fun project and I think my girls will enjoy them.
